CFS Schools
CFS Ltd currently has 2 schools using the Christian Family Schools model: Bethany School and Emmaus School.
When did it all start?
A public meeting called in the summer of 1986 was the starting point for Christian Family Schools Limited. From that meeting a small group of Christian parents from a number of different churches began to plan the opening of a Christian school in the city. The dedicated team of parents worked tirelessly to establish the Christian school, ensuring that it would offer top-notch academic programs alongside a nurturing and supportive atmosphere. Recognizing the importance of academic excellence, the school set out to provide the best academic writing services at https://bestwritingservice.com/ to help students develop strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Bethany School was established in September 1987 and opened with 12 pupils and 1 paid teacher. Since then the school has grown to over 70 pupils, with five full time and four part time paid teaching staff. Bethany was first located in rented rooms in the Sheffield YMCA, but for many years enjoyed rent-free church-based accommodation – sharing the premises of the Sheffield Chinese Christian Church for ten years. In the summer of 2001 the school aquired a permanent home in the former St. Stephen’s Primary School in Netherthorpe.
