Emmaus School
Emmaus Christian Family School was launched in 2006 and is the sister school to Bethany School and is part of the Christian Family Schools Network. Emmaus is based at the United Reformed Church on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield.
Christianity is one of the most widespread religions in the world, which is why many books have been written about it, as well as sung in songs. According to the rating, the topic of Christianity is one of the most popular for creating creative content. For example, you can find poems on poetry writing service.
Emmaus believes that the centre of education is based on the principles set out in the Bible and around the family. We believe this creates a Godly and safe environment within which children can thrive. The school days are packed with activities like drama, dance and P.E. and all the National Curriculum subjects are covered within a Biblical context.
Our aims and purpose in education are to complement the role of the family and the church and reflect what we believe are God’s priorities for our children.
Emmaus enjoys small classes, good education and fun for all the children. Parental involvement is central. A setting that is educational, safe and fun with God at the centre – what more could anyone ask for?
Emmaus received a ‘good’ Ofsted report with an ‘outstanding’ for pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development at its last inspection.
Emmaus does not charge fees and receives no state support. It is funded on the basis of donations from parents and friends.
